If it's been a while since you last visited this website, you'll notice that there have been some major changes. What has actually happened is that this website has finally caught up with all of the changes that ChunkiChilli went through over the last few years.

We've always liked vivid colours but we discovered organics in a big way and designed a whole new range of colourful organic cotton toys. Although we're a British company, we launched the toys in Asia first, and they were such a success that we had to keep rolling back the toys' UK launch date.

You'll find our toys in five-star hotels from the Himalayas to the Maldives, and now at last they are available all the way from Brighton to Belfast, but only online. You won't find these toys on the British High Street.

We're still producing all of our knitwear at our own production base in a small mountain town in Southwest China. We started the project nearly a decade ago as a way of providing income to people made redundant by the closure of old state enterprises.

As it turned out, we were ahead of our time. Now more and more people are choosing to stay and work in their hometown, with their families, rather than travel hundreds or thousands of miles to the factories at the coast. We are signing up new knitters every week.
